OrangeTheory’s 12 Days of Fitness 2023 [What You Should Know]

Everybody’s heard about OrangeTheory one way or another, whether it’s from a friend who wants you to join, a close relative who shares his experience of the fitness studio with you, or even during your typical training session at the gym. The latter is what happened to me when I overheard two guys talking about OrangeTheory while I was performing my daily workout routine, “Hey man, wanna try out this OrangeTheory thing with me? I’ve heard they have this special training routine called 12 days of fitness and I kinda want to give it a try to see what it’s all about”. This got me intrigued and I decided to dig around to find out exactly what this 12 days of fitness routine entails, and this is what I found.

OrangeTheory’s 12 Days of Fitness is a special event that happens on the first 12 days of December and includes fun little holiday-themed workouts with holiday-themed names. These workouts are usually not intense and they’re used as a way to stay fit and active during the holiday season.

In this article, we’ll talk about what OrangeTheory’s 12 days of fitness challenge is all about and what you should know before doing it.

What is OrangeTheory’s 12 Days of Fitness?

We all know how frustrating it can get when it comes to working out or hitting your daily gym session. Waking up every day to do the same routine over and over again can get quite demotivating.

However, one of the best ways to overcome this problem is to constantly change up your routine and come up with fun little challenges that will keep you motivated and thriving for more.

And that’s exactly what OrangeTheory Fitness does and it’s the whole reason why they’re rising in popularity these last couple of years.

Besides the fact that they implement science in their workouts using all sorts of high-tech equipment, they also come up with fun little challenges every now and then to keep their members hooked and motivated. One of these challenges is called the 12 Days of Fitness.

The 12 Days of Fitness is a fun and interesting event that OrangeTheory offers for its members. It always happens on the first 12 days of September. And based on the time of the year, as you may have already guessed, the event includes holiday-themed workouts with holiday-themed names. Usually, the workouts included are meant to be fun and not challenging unlike Hell Week, Inferno, Catch Me if You Can, and so on.

To put this into perspective, here’s what 2021’s workouts lineup looked like:

  • Day1: ‘Tis The Orange Season
  • Day 2: Ho Ho Hold it
  • Day 3: Blizten Bands
  • Day 4: Snowball Fight
  • Day 5: Elf on a Shelf
  • Day 6: Santa’s Belly
  • Day 7: Slay the Sleigh
  • Day 8: Jingle Dumbbells
  • Day 9: Hold on to You Reindeer
  • Day 10: Dashing Through the Row
  • Day 11: Merry and Light
  • Day 12: Run Run Rudolph

As you can see, based on the names alone, you can already tell that they’re fun little workout sessions that’ll keep you active and fit even during the holiday season.

Although 2023’s lineup is yet to be revealed on their website, I’ll update this post and include them as soon as they’re available.
